We invite you to use our UserGuide posts for your own customer support needs.
Please choose from the two options below.
Option 1) Copy/Paste any post of your interest for your own support needs. You will notice that all of our screenshots are non-branded for your convenience.
A complete index of all available posts can be found here.
Option 2) You can download a (WordPress compatible) XML file of all UserGuide Posts: getfivestarsuserguide.wordpress.2017-07-27.xml
We will post an updated XML file every 2-3 month to reflect changes and user guide article additions. You will need to manually update your own install.
Please note that the XML file contains mention of GetFiveStars, meaning the content should be edited after or before import (see plugins below). The XML file is intended for advanced Users. Please contact your hosting providers tech support if you need assistance with WordPress or XML files.
Using a plugin like http://wordpress.org/plugins/text-replace/ allows you to remove and replace any text mention of GetFiveStars with your own product name.
Using a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/velvet-blues-update-urls/ allows you to change URL’s and links.
We are currently unable to offer a ZIP file containing all images. Please copy images that you are interested in from the articles or create your own using your own branding.
Is there a generic white-label hosted UserGuide?
Creating a generic white-label user guide hosted by us on a generic domain would likely conflict with how you position and sell the product. It would also introduce features to your clients that they may not have access to due to their User and Account permission settings. Further it would possibly encourage actions within the platform you don’t want your users to take or actions you do for your clients.
We therefore offer the UserGuide for download allowing you to pick the posts you want and allowing you to brand the posts with your own company and product name.

We ask for your understanding that we cannot offer a complete “SQL” or “WP-Content” folder export with all images and theme files since a complete SQL export would make us vulnerable to attacks.
