Difference between Testimonials Badge and Widget

GetFiveStars offers a Testimonials Badge and a Testimonials Widget. This short post will show the difference and ideal placement for both.

Testimonials Badge
The Testimonials Badge is designed to show the Average Rating and amount of feedbacks received. The badge can be (optionally) linked to a page that runs your Testimonials Widget. The badge is ideal for placement in the global sidebar or footer of your website.

Getting the badge code: Click on “Settings -> Testimonial Widget” to get the embed code snippet.

Testimonials Widget
The Testimonials Widget is designed to show all the feedbacks left by your customers and your (optional) response to the customers feedback. The Widget uses Schema Markup allowing Search Engines to index your feedback received. Sites with a good page authority will have their “stars” shown in Google.

Getting the badge code: Click on “Settings -> Testimonial Widget” to get the embed code snippet.
